In 1980 Gary began working with business owners on their corporate and personal life insurance, disability insurance, employee benefits and retirement. Today Gary Johnson & Associates, Inc. (www.ebenefitsplus.com) is a family owned/operated business specializing in employee benefits, 401(k) plans and employee financial education and executive planning.

Gary is a Certified Financial Planner practioner and a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designee and a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

He advises individuals on their personal and business life and disability insurance, retirement planning and investments.

Gary is a Registered Representative of Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation, a registered Broker-Dealer and a registered investment advisor.

CFP® is a federally registered certification mark of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Grace is responsible for office administration and insuring excellent customer service. She has more than twenty years experience with employee benefit planning and administration.

She is very knowledgeable in COBRA administration, H.S.A and H.R.A. administration as well as claims administration. She is a valuable resource for our clients having problems or questions concerning employee benefits, federal or state regulations impacting benefits, eligibility, etc.

Amanda specializes in meeting with employers and designing and implementing employee benefit plans to meet the specific needs of the client and their employees.

She is very knowledgeable about employee benefits as well as the full array of administrative services provided by our company. Amanda is involved with conducting employee meetings to educate employees and their spouses on their employee benefits which may include Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, Flexible Spending Accounts, and COBRA. 

In addition to providing annual reviews of group products and new sales services, Amanda also actively educates the employees and spouses on the value of the employee benefits package to assist the employer with employee appreciation and retention. Her main objective is to build long lasting client relationships.

Elaina demonstrates our online H.S.A enrollment and MasterCard debit card application process during employee meetings. She processes employer and employee H.S.A contributions and administers COBRA/HIPAA notices and processes employee COBRA payments.

She is available to answer employee questions concerning H.S.A transactions, viewing on-line H.S.A statements and questions concerning COBRA. Elaina is a 1996 graduate of LSU with a Bachelors Degree in General Studies.

Jenny is responsible for invoicing clients for our administrative services such as payroll, employee benefit enrollment services, H.S.A, H.R.A and F.S.A account administration.

She also prepares customized enrollment packets used for employee enrollment meetings for employer clients using our benefits enrollment services. She audits insurance company invoices for our employers clients and authorizes payment of invoices. Jenny has over 15 years of experience in payroll.

Lauren specializes in advising our employer clients on the hiring and terminating process, creating and administering management training, creating, or revising employee handbooks and other HR documents and educating employees on the true value of their total compensation by creating The Hidden Paycheck.

She assists the employer with scheduling employee drug screening and criminal records checks as well as workers compensation issues and claims.

In addition, Lauren will coordinate with the employer and make all the arrangements for any special employee events such as company golf tournaments, Christmas parties, or employee recognition events.

She is also a valuable resource for our clients with questions or concerns regarding their employment practices and employee issues. Lauren is a 1998 graduate of L.S.U. with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. In 2007 she earned a Human Resource Management Certificate from L.S.U. Continuing Education.
