Retirement Solutions Group has affiliated with Retirement Plan Advisory Group; a national 401(k) consulting group with more than 600 advisors in 45 states. We have access to advanced technology which enables us to evaluate a plans fees/expenses, fund performance and Fiduciary compliance.
Our services will identify plan Fiduciaries and provide documentation to help defend Trustees, owners, Board Members and investment committe members from personal liability. We will educate employees on the benefits of saving for retirement in a 401(k) and the various tools and investments availble in the plan.
We are independent from all 401(k) providers working for the exclusive benefit of our clients and it's employees. Our evaluation process uses the RPAG proprietary Scorecard system to benchmark a plans funds comparing each fund to a peer group of funds within the approptiate asset class.
One of the most important documents for any 401(k) plan is the Investment Policy Statement. An Investment Policy Statement is the business plan for your 401(k). It explains how the funds were chosen, how they are evaluated and monitored and what systems are in place to re-place funds which do not meet the plans criteria.
We create an audit file with the other documentation which would be required by the IRS and/or the DOL in the event of a plan audit.
Gary has earned the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) from the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
Our services include educating the employees on the most critical factors regarding their investment choices such as investment time horizon. We specialize in educating employees approaching retirement on strategies to reduce the impact of market volitility on their portfolios and how to protect their nest eggs from long term care expenses, inflation and how to guarantee an income they won't outlive.
